Looking for some help
with your homework? Check out these websites! From dictionaries to college
prep, within these sites you can find just about anything you are looking for
to help you with all kinds of homework assignments and school projects.
1. BJ Pinchbeck’s Homework Helper
BJ says “If you can’t find it here, then you can’t find it!”
Created by a 10 year old in 1996, this site is updated regularly and now
contains over 700 links on various topics. I give my own personal approval to
this site for homework help. It really is helpful!

2. WordCentral
Voted a best
educational website! This site allows you to quickly look up words in a virtual
dictionary, lets you build your own dictionary, and tests your knowledge of
daily buzzwords. Who ever thought a dictionary could be this fun!

3. The Franklin Institute's Educational Hotlists
These
hotlists are an organized list of resources about numerous topics on the
Internet that students, as well as educators may find useful. These sites have
been screened for their educational appropriateness, helping take some of the
guesswork out of the web for you.

4. NYS Regents Exams
Our own NYS Dept. of
Education provides a site with past regents tests. It is great for student
review of any regents’ topic. Printable tests and answers are available on this

A fun and helpful site for students that has facts on just about
anything ranging from world geography to fashion. An abundance of information
right at your fingertips! Click on Homework Center and find a variety of links
on various topics including homework skills and preparing for college or a

10. Study Guides and Strategies
These guides are
intended to be straightforward recipes on selected topics. They were
created by a professor at the University of St. Thomas. The vocabulary and
concepts use the junior high level as its’ foundation and contain translations
