Citing Internet Resources

As students and teachers are finding information on the Internet for use in papers and                  reports, the need increases to recognize the original authors of this information. There are                  several acceptable styles for documenting internet sources.

  • As a student at Amsterdam High School, you are expected to use the following format for citing electronic sources obtained from our media center. The booklet also contains examples for citing internet sources. NOTE: The information that follows can be obtained in printed copy from your English teacher or in the AHS Media Center. Ask for the Research Documentation booklet.
