Introduction
This
treasure hunt is about Saints. The
students will answer six questions on the Saint of their choice.
By clicking on the URL (web site link) below the Saint’s name that
student wants to learn about, they will go to a website that will help them
answer the question. This project
can be used as an integrated Lesson Plan with the student’s Religion class.
Learners
The
students that I see using this treasure hunt would be students in a Christian
school or students in a Religious Education or Sunday School program.
The students would be in grades 3 through 8.
Resources
Student
would need to have access to computer and an Internet connection.
Access to a printer would also be helpful but not required.

The
students will use the treasure hunt as information gathering process.
The answers to the questions posed in the treasure hunt would hopefully
lead to the completion of a project involving the Saint that they researched.
You can print out two lesson plans that would you use the information
that students find during the hunt. These
plans also include a blank answer sheet for the treasure hunt.
Evaluation
To
evaluate the student using the treasure hunt, I would look to what their answers
were to the hunt questions. If you
use the hunt as a research tool to my lesson plans, you will find a breakdown of
what I would expect from a completed report or brochure.
