Re-enact Shackleton’s voyage

At this site, click on the ship.  On the left is a map of the journey of the Endurance around Antarctica, click on it.
1.  Click on the first circle dated Dec. 5, 1914. Look at photograph on the right. Describe the photo.

 

2. Click on the circle dated Spring 1915. Describe the men. How are they dressed? What are they doing?

 

3. Click on the circle dated Oct. 27, 1915. Describe the ship.

 

4. Click on circle dated Jan. 1 – Apr. 9, 1916. What are the men doing? Describe the boat.
