This task is suited for grades K-2
You need to make a little skit to show us which job you choose. We would like to see you pretending to be functioning in your actual job. We would like you to show us a typical day in your workplace. Show us, or in a conversation with other workers, give us clues about salary, education etc. that you would need to possess to have this job. Your skit should take no longer than 5 minutes. You may include only 3 props.
What are you expected to do each day?

What tools do you need to complete your job?
What kind of money will you make?
What kind of problems might you encounter in your day of work?

This task is suited for grades K-5
You need to connect to the following link on the internet. Using the worksheet provided, you need to collect all the information that has been requested of you. Your success at this task, will depend upon getting accurate and detailed information to the questions on the worksheet. You will have one classroom lab time to complete this task.

This task is suited for grades K-5
You are a recruiter for your job. You are putting on a presentation for our school. You need to attract new workers. You need to sell us on all the attractive features of your job. You can demonstrate this through the use of any or all of the following:

hyperstudio presentations
slide shows
photographs
music
This presentation should take no longer than five minutes.
Task #4
This task is suited for grades 4-5
Over the course of 10 weeks participants will invest a hypothetical 100,000 dollars in stocks. They research stocks study how the financial market works , manage budgets, and make decisions whether to buy, sell or hold. They can compare their performance to peers on a weekly basis.
