Introduction

This treasure hunt will allow the students to review the unit on dinosaurs.

It was designed as a project within the Capital Region Collaboration/Title

III Technology Literacy Challenge Grant.

 

Learners

This hunt can be used for first and second graders learning about dinosaurs.

 

Resources

Computer, internet connection, answer sheet, and pencil

 

NYS State Standards

ELA #1 Language for Information and Understanding

Students will read and write for information and understanding.

 

MST #2 Information Systems

Students will access. generate, process, and transfer information using appropriate technologies.

 

ISTE Standards

Technology Productivity Tools

Students use technology tools to enhance learning, increase productivity, and promote creativity.

Technology Research Tools

Students use technology to locate, evaluate, and collect information from a variety of sources.

 

Process

Students will work in pairs to complete the Treasure Hunt. Each team will write

one or two words to answer the questions.

 

Evaluation

Students will be evaluated on the correctness of their answers.
