Introduction
Welcome to Musical Instrument Quest. In this quest you will find many different musical instruments, strings, percussion, brass and woodwind. When you click on a picture of an instrument you also get to hear how it sounds! There are also some matching games you can play too.
Directions
For the first link you see, click on it to open it up, then choose “Learn and hear about different instruments” Then go to the bottom of the page and pick a “family” of instruments that you want to hear such as strings or woodwinds. Now you can click on any picture you like and hear the instrument! Ready? Let’s Go!

2. Now let’s play a matching game! Click on the link below and meet Caramax Turtle! He’ll say hi to you and then you can click on him to play a game. Click on any square to see and hear an instrument. Try to make a match!
3. It’s time for a fun quiz. Let’s play Guess the Instrument! Take 3 guesses and identify the instrument by its sound.

4. Now let’s read about some of the instruments.
When you open the site click on the big blue box with pictures of musical instruments in it. Then click on any instrument you want to learn more about. Can you find the instrument that you have to “buzz your lips” to play? Which one has a “double reed?”

5. Let’s play another matching game! Open the site and look for violins on the bookshelf. There are 3 levels of play. Try the easy one first and when you get better you can go to a higher level. Better have your listening ears on because level 3 gets tricky! Here’s a challenge for you. In level 1, try to beat 8 turns. Level 2, try to beat 13 turns. Level 3, try to beat 16 turns! Ready? Go!
