It provides students at each level an opportunity to explore age appropriate social studies curriculum through language arts activities. It can be used with individuals, partners or in a small group setting.
From Sea to Shining Sea	Internet Activity	Project Information	This treasure hunt will allow students to develop an understanding of the diversity of states throughout the United States. Students will be allowed to explore states in various regions of the U.S. Both social studies and language arts skills will be addressed in this project. Students will need to have a basic knowledge of computer use, reading, writing and United States geography skills. Most students should be able to complete this activity in two class periods.

Native Americans	Internet Activity	Project Information	This project is about the Native American Indian. The goal of this project is for the children to become familiar with who the American Indian was and what life was like for them.
Symbols of Citizenship	PowerPoint	Project Information	The project is about symbols of citizenship. Its purpose is to teach the students about the symbols. In the classroom we will give a large group presentation and then allow students to do activities independently later on.

Celebrating Easter	Internet Activity	Project Information	This project is about the celebration of Easter. It will be used in the classroom to teach the children the history of Easter. Children will complete the lesson individually on the classroom computers. This will be done at different times throughout the day.
Respect	PowerPoint	Project Information	This Power Point Presentation was designed to introduce the topic of Respect and what it means to be honest, courteous, cooperative and responsible. Activities include listening to a song about manners and taking digital pictures of children being courteous
